This was one of our more challenging projects in a ‘very’ tiny backyard. The concrete substructure, walls, and patio, was all that was provided the owner’s when they purchased this cliff side dwelling. Second Nature manipulated the site by incorporating very large boulders (all man made of course) to carry your eye beyond all the bleak, cold hardness of the existing concrete and out to native landscape plantings. The space ‘felt’ twice as big as before by removing all the man made elements and site lines out of the equation.
